Water outages are affecting multiple neighbourhoods in Athenry this evening due to a burst water main.
Irish Water reported a burst main on the east side of town shortly after 5pm on Friday.
This is causing water outages to homes in Abbey Row, Abbey Glen, Árd Esker, and the Farnablake Group Water Scheme in Athenry.
Repair works are underway, and are currently scheduled to take place until 7:30pm this evening.
It may take 2-3 hours after repairs are completed before people see their full water supply restored.
