Traffic on one of the busiest roads in Galway City will be disrupted next week by roadworks taking place on the N6 dual carriageway from Monday.
Galway City Council is carrying roadworks on the inbound and outbound lanes of the N6 which are expected to take five days.
Work will take place from 7am to 6pm each day from Monday, July 20 through to Friday, July 24.
Work on the inbound lane will start later, from 10am each day the city council has said.
In order to facilitate these works temporary traffic management system will be in operation on the section between the Briarhill and Ballybane junctions of the N6.
As a consequence users of this road are requested to expect delays and as such should allow additional time for their journeys.
