The Galway based private bus operator GoBus has resumed all of their intercity and commuter services this week after six months closed.
GoBus suspended all of its services on Monday, March 16 due to restrictions imposed for the COVID-19 pandemic.
The extremely popular private bus operator has remained closed for some time, even after Bus Eireann and other private operators have resumed.
The biggest routes for GoBus are their intercity services connecting Galway and Cork with each other and Dublin City and Airport.
Since March of 2019, they have also operated a regional commuter route between Galway and Ballina in Co. Mayo.
This includes stops at Tuam and Milltown in Galway, as well as Ballindine, Claremorris, Balla, Castlebar, Ballyvary, and Foxford in Mayo.
All GoBus routes resumed services as of Monday, September 21, albeit with a reduced timetable.
Booking ahead is required for intercity services, and buses are running at 50% capacity, and with mandatory face coverings in order to comply with COVID-19 regulations.
