The traffic lights at Carnmore Cross near Galway Airport are expected to be out of action throughout the day.
Galway County Council has said that the ESB is carrying out works at the crossroads of the R339 and R381 today.
As a result of these works, the junction’s traffic lights will be down for Wednesday.
Motorists are advised to approach the junction with caution as a result.
