Update: Max has been found safe in Galway.
The owners of a dog have asked for the public’s help in locating him after he jumped out of a car in Newcastle and ran away on Friday.
Max ran way on the Ardiluan Road in Newcastle, just across from Corrib Park.
The owners say that he is microchipped and that he will be nervous but that he will not bite.
The dog was wearing a blue collar and a beige lead.
