Galway County Council is holding a free collection of old mattresses for households in the county today.
People who wish to freely dispose of mattresses can bring them to Maam Cross Mart.
The collection will run from 10am to 3pm on Friday, September 16.
Any mattresses must be clean and dry, and a limit of three per customer applies.
This waste collection is for domestic households only.
