Galway County Council is offering a free collection of bulky waste in Ballinasloe next week.
Next Saturday, July 13 people can drop off their couches, carpets, other furniture and different bulky waste for free disposal at Ballinasloe Civic Amenity site.
The collection will be open to domestic households from 10am to 1pm on Saturday.
This is only for households, commercial and business waste will be turned away.
Certain items such as electrical waste, hazardous materials, construction and demolition waste or bags of household waste will also not be accepted.
