Galway County Council is organising a free collection of electronic waste goods this weekend.
The collection service will take place at the GAA Car Park in Oughterard this Saturday.
Households will be able to bring any WEEE goods, or “anything with a plug or battery” for free disposal.
The collection service will run from 10am to 4pm on April 16.
Further collections are scheduled for other towns and villages around the county in the coming weeks.
