A man is due before court in Galway today in connection with an investigation into organised crime activity in Connacht.
This morning, Gardaí in Sligo arrested and charged a man in connection with an ongoing investigation into organised crime in the Sligo/Leitrim Division.
The man in his 20s is due to appear before Loughrea District Court sitting in Ballinasloe this morning.
To date, 10 people have been arrested in connection with this ongoing investigation.
The man before court today is the second person to be charged as part of the investigation.
