There were 349 people hospitalised with the virus in Ireland as of this morning.
Of these patients, 65 are being treated in intensive care units around the country.
Ireland’s five day moving average is now 1,143 cases per day.
In Galway there were 14 confirmed hospital cases as of Monday night, 12 at UHG and two at Portiuncula, with two patients in the ICU at University Hospital Galway.
