Tribe Hospitality, which includes a number of much loved eateries and coffee shops in Galway City has not only kept its doors open, but managed to feed close to 7,000 people as part of the Feed the Frontline Heroes campaign

The hospitality group has now been going back to the drawing board to see how their business needs to adapt in order to survive the current crisis and still be there for the people of Galway post Covid-19.

After a two week trial period the Ground & Co brunch call and collect service is now to become a regular Sunday service for people in Galway city.

Two weeks ago the award-winning café opened their brunch collection service from 10am to 2pm and with their customers’ feedback and demand this has now become a regular service.

Baby Ground & Co, which is located in Knocknacarra, is now open Thursday to Saturday from 9am to – 2:30pm serving takeaway coffees only.

Tribe Hospitality has consistently adapted their business during this pandemic adding Easter waffle hampers through their Mr Waffle site in Newcastle.

Selling these hampers across the country they now have kept this sweet treat and gift on the menu with the Waffle Hamper.

This hamper of five waffles, Nutella, Oreos and Maltesers is available to your home for €30.

“We tried the brunch collection service after being inundated with requests for food from our Salthill Café.”

“Two weeks on we now know how much our customers love their Sunday brunch more than ever.”

“We will be running this collection service for as along as we are in this pandemic,” explained Kevin Nugent MD of Tribe Hospitality Group.

The call and collect brunch sees menu favourites including the Ground fry, A veggie fry with flat capped mushrooms, Halloumi, wilted spinach and sweetcorn fritters with eggs your way,

The breakfast bun comes with pudding, sausages, lightly fried egg, rashers on a brioche bun, and Leroys Sausage roll with homemade relish is also available.

Because this has been such a busy service, only pre-orders are being accepted
